Kenya records first COVID 19 death

KENYA has confirmed the first death from Corona virus disease. as at 26th march . Total confirmed cases were 31 with 1 recovery. 

 Patient's details include...
1. Gender- male,
2. Age-66 years,
3. Previous medical condition- Diabetes.
4.Nationality- Kenyan
5. Traveled from SouthAfrica on 13th March 2020

Research shows that people aged above 60 years are the most vulnerable with this COVID 19 disease. Conditions such as heart diseases, respiratory conditions, diabetes, hypertension and cancer makes you more vulnerable. Stay safe.

The message is clear , let's protect our parents and grand parents by avoiding contact with them. those running from towns to up-country. you are not doing them any good. remember you (Young aged) you can have it without knowing but transmit it to the old whose chances of survival are much lower than you.

This disease knows no border.
Stay where you are,
1. Wash your hands continuously with soap and clean water,
2. Avoid crowded places,
3. Stay at home if you can,
4. Get continuous updates from the government.
5. Practice respiratory hygiene by covering your nose and mouth with either your folded elbow or clean towel while coughing or sneezing.
6. If you have symptoms like, fever, fatigue, dry cough, itchy throat call the relevant authority for verification and further direction.
7. Be disciplined by following government's directives once issued.(They are for your own good)
